Covid Measures Update 26/02/2022

Ending of Lockdown Restrictions
This week, the government announced that all legal restrictions relating to the Covid 19 pandemic will be lifted at the end of the month. In terms of our church services, this means that there is no longer any mandatory guidance that we have to adhere to. However, in order to help everyone to feel safe in church, I have taken the decision to continue with the following measures:
– It is not mandatory to wear a face covering but please feel free to do so if that is your preference.
– If you want the seat next to you left vacant, please pick up a sign indicating this on your way into church.
– Hand sanitiser will still be available at entrance/exits and also at the distribution of Holy Communion.
– We will continue to share the Peace as we have been doing (ie. without direct, physical contact with others).
– I will continue to distribute Holy Communion in the way that I have been doing (ie. without sharing the chalice) and I will continue to wear a face covering.
The above precautionary measures will be reviewed again after Easter. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Many thanks,
Rachael
