Celebrating Christmas with us

A great time was had by all at The Taste of Christmas event on 1st December at St Mark’s, here are just a couple of pictures:

Don’t worry if you were not able to be with us we have more services and events coming up in the next few weeks, so that’s lots of chances to link up with the Christmas Story.

St Mark’s is beautifully decorated with angel wings designed by church and local groups, which has become a recent tradition, here are just a few of them:

This Sunday we have our Carol services:

  • 10am Celebration Carols @ St Mark’s
  • 6pm Traditional Carol Service by Candlelight @ All Saints’

Next Thursday is the Big Community Nativity at Shavington Primary School, from 5pm, come dressed as your favourite nativity character.

Then on Christmas Eve we have our Crib services, come along as a character from the nativity story. Will you be a sheep, donkey, angel, shepherd, inn keeper…

  • 2:30pm @ All Saints’
  • 5pm @ St Mark’s

And our Christmas Eve Midnight Communion is at St Mark’s at 11:30pm.

Christmas Day we have our United Parish Christmas Communion at All Saints’ at 10am.

We hope to see you over the coming weeks.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
