The new chairs for St Mark’s church hall arrived on Tuesday. We now have 60 matching chairs plus a further 10 with arms. Thanks to Shavington-cum-Gresty Parish Council for a generous grant towards their purchase.

The old red chairs (and the even older brown/grey chairs) have given over a quarter of a century of service and have now been retired to new homes.

A big thank you to those who helped unload the new chairs and move them into the church – Sheila, Ian, Gaynor, Bill and Roger.
