The St. Mark’s stall at the Village Festival today had Bottle and Chocolate Tombolas.

The stall raised £160 for the New Build Fund.

Thanks to Gaynor, Sheila, Ian and Jools who helped to set up and run the stall.

This week, the below-ground investigations are taking place with contractors collecting core samples of the ground under the church field. The investigation report will then inform the structural engineering consultants as they design the building foundations, etc.

Our Cafés donated half of their net profits obtained during Lent to twelve charities nominated by Cafe customers and selected by Cafe staff.

Last night Mary and Joseph spent the evening with Singers at St Mark’s who were putting their finishing touches to the programme for the Carol Service next Sunday evening.

Advance notice – Saturday 8th October – 7.30pm in St Mark’s church.

Raffle and refreshments in the interval.
