Children

Jesus once told his disciples off for trying to keep children out of his way. He said, “Let the little children come to me, for the Kingdom of God belongs to them!” They’re powerful words, which show us something about how God feels about children.

In this Parish we make an effort to help children engage in worship and to play their part in the family of God. Below you’ll find details of the children groups, and children’s worship, which happen in Weston and Shavington.

Sunday Celebration meets on the first Sunday of every month at St Mark’s Church. It’s a cafe style service, with breakfast served from 9am and throughout the service which begins at 9.30am. You’ll find the usual ingredients — prayers, bible stories, songs, time for reflection — but in a much more relaxed style & friendly atmosphere which is good for children and families.
