The Men of the parish escaped from their usual Thursday evening duties and headed to Brookfields Golf Club last week, not to play 18 holes but instead for an Italian Night! Plenty of food, good company, and lively conversation was followed by a short after-dinner talk by Michael called “The Road to Weston and Shavington”. Using various objects collected from home, he told us about how he ended-up being the Vicar here…but alas, not what we’ve done to deserve him!
