Everyone is welcome to our annual Day of Prayer at St Mark’s, Shavington, on Saturday 29th July. Drop-in anytime between 9am and 9pm to find a host of different prayer stations to help you pray. Come for a little or a long as you like – ten minutes or ten hours!
The Day of Prayer is always an energising event, which many people find gives a boost to their personal prayer life and fresh energy to their faith.
During the day there are specific moments when we come together as a whole group:
9am Simple Morning Prayer
10am Ecumenical Holy Communion (followed by bacon butties in the Church Hall)
2pm All Age Songs of Praise (followed by informal afternoon tea in the Church Hall)
8.30pm Simple Evening Prayer to finish
