A GLOWing start to a new term

A new term of GLOW is well under way at St Mark’s.  Our first two meetings have looked at new beginnings and harvest.

With The Hungry Caterpillar, butterfly cakes and toilet roll cocoon races we explored how new beginnings are nothing to be frightened of and how we will all change during the year.

Our second meeting featured potato people and take home pizza as we looked at harvest. We watched a cartoon story about collecting the harvest and not wasting food that God has provided and the need to say thank you for all we have. We talked about growing our own food.

Our next meeting is on Tuesday 23rd October, 3:30pm at St Mark’s. All primary school aged children welcome. See the Children’s page or Upcoming Events for further details of GLOW and other activities.
